Wood & stone waste /
In addition to leather scraps, our production also produces wood and stone offcuts. However, these not only arise during further processing, but also sometimes unintentionally, for example due to transport damage. Here too, our goal is to use the materials sensibly and sustainably.
So how can the other materials be reused? The inspiration for this was a conventional plastic wall clock in one of our offices. Two employees simply couldn't get used to it and looked for a nicer, higher quality solution - not in an online shop, but in their own factory. With the help of a friend and a watchmaker, they gathered the technical know-how and presented the first prototype of their JANUA wall clock to managing director Christian Seisenberger. He liked the idea of recycling so much that it couldn't remain a one-off project.
Many designs and feedback loops later, a unique watch collection was created in which JANUA is reflected: an accessory with character. Each watch is unique and is handcrafted with great attention to detail. This allows for individual configuration and adaptation to all your other furniture.
